My work is integral to productions on stringent schedules that have no margin for error. Your creative team has enough on their plate and deserve a detailer who matches their passion and enthusiasm for the project.

Assisting shoots anywhere in the world.

I can meet the demands of nearly any vehicle shoot. With my two travel cases, I pack what I need to detail for any new vehicle, virtually anywhere in the world.

For productions on the U.S. east coast, we can arrange bringing my mobile truck for additional gear, such as my large water tank to wet the asphalt during shoots.  However, most commercial work requires me hopping on a flight with my travel kit.

Unlocking perfect interior shots

A dedicated detailer will help with tricky interior shots.

Materials in car interiors are finicky and unforgiving. Even a brief car repositioning can introduce a smudge that may render a shot unusable. When I prep a car interior, I ensure it's commercial ready.

an essential cog in the creative process

Enabling the creative team to do their best work.

The photographer is a master of their craft, focused on the creative brief. The photographer's assistants, while traditionally tasked with wiping down cars, don't have the same eye or skillset that a master detailer has.

Each vehicle needs to look pixel perfect.

The car's condition should reflect the painstaking effort that went into the design, production, the marketing, and the emotions the shoot wants to convey.

With a commercial project, there is zero margin of error. Modern cameras are exceptionally unforgiving, and one minor error sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise perfect car.

capture perfection on camera to minimize retouching

Helping each shoot go more smoothly and increasing odds of success.

I support the creative gurus but never interfere. While your team is getting each shot ready, I'm inspecting and primping the car.

On Location Detailing

With most shoots taking place outdoors, the need for a competent detailer on standby is clear. Do the bottom of the tires look dirty from repositioning the car? Did a bird swoop by and leave droppings? Industrial fallout, or perhaps unforeseen drizzle? All these things can happen on set, and will be immortalized in film if not noticed by your already busy creative team.

Even new cars can need prep work.

Factory defects, love marks, and brake dust. New cars, especially press cars, need an expert's touch to get them advertisement ready. After we go over the creative brief, I can prep the car with specialized products to achieve the desired look.

Supporting the Team, Never Interfering

While the detailer is an essential supporting role, it's the creatives that take the spotlight during the shoot. My job is to stay in the periphery, enabling the crew to get the best photos possible, without slowing down production.
